Romel Harmon, MA

Mr. Harmon received his MA in Adult Education from San Francisco State University. He also has a SFSU Graduate Certificate in Teaching Post Secondary Reading. Mr. Harmon is a California State University Sally Casanova Scholar and has conducted extensive research regarding the impacts of childhood trauma, remedial course work, and educational social promotion on the academic outcomes of BIPOC students in higher education. Mr. Harmon has leveraged his comprehensive research and lived experiences to become an informed and impassioned educator as a Step to College (STC) instructor and lecturer in Equity and Social Justice Education MA program.
