Congratulations to Mx. Quinn Rioz

Congratulations to Mx. Quinn Rioz, lecturer faculty in the Equity and Social Justice Education MA program, on their admission to the Ph.D. program in Education at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at UC Santa Barbara. Quinn will be pursuing a concentration in Culture, Language, and Human Development, engaging in interdisciplinary scholarship across feminist studies, LGBTQ studies, Chicana/o studies, sociology, and global studies.

Quinn is an alum of our ELSIT MA Special Interest program and currently teaches Queering Education: Research, Policy, and Practice in the Equity and Social Justice Education MA at SF State. They also serve as the Director of the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at UC Santa Barbara.

We’re excited to see Quinn continue their impactful work, and we wish them the very best in this next chapter!
